Yesterday four California bills sponsored or co-sponsored by LAS-ELC passed out of the Senate Labor Committee. SB 406 would give more employees job protection while caring for a new child or a seriously ill family member, and its passage takes us one step closer to expanding access to California’s landmark Paid Family Leave program.
