EEOC hears report on effectiveness of harassment trainingJune 20, 2016
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s special task force on harassment, which included Senior Staff Attorney Christopher Ho with Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center, recommends that EEOC “reboot” its prevention efforts.
The EEOC heard expert testimony on June 20 in Washington, D.C., about preventing harassment of all kinds in the workplace.
The task force, which formed in January 2015, included attorneys for management and employees, advocates for workers and employers, and academics who have studied harassment. It held hearings in several locations nationwide and conducted lots of additional research.
Its aim, rather than reaching consensus, was to report on the diverse viewpoints it heard. Here are links to the full report and an executive summary.
