
Sarah Vincent
Interim Director, Racial and Economic Justice Program
Sarah Vincent is the Interim Director of the Racial and Economic Justice Program at Legal Aid at Work, where she leads initiatives focused on advancing racial and economic justice for workers in California. With a background in labor and employment law, Sarah’s expertise includes advising national employers on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices, Fair Chance hiring, and employment-related compliance.
Sarah previously worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Andre Birotte, Jr. in the Central District of California and the Honorable James E. Graves of the Fifth Circuit. She also served as a labor and employment attorney at an AM Law 100 firm, where she gained extensive experience supporting employers on various legal matters. Her career began as a high school Spanish teacher, where she developed a passion for education and empowering individuals with the knowledge of their rights.
Sarah is a graduate of Truman State University (B.A. in Spanish) and Pepperdine School of Law (J.D.). She was selected as Pepperdine Law’s Young Alumnus of the Year in 2024 for her efforts in DEI and named to Truman State University’s Echo 25.
Sarah believes in the power of education—be it in the courtroom or on a client call—to create systemic change. Outside of work, she enjoys running, experimenting with new recipes, traveling with her partner and their children, watching AS Roma and STL City soccer matches, and reading mystery novels.
