Shazzy Kamali
Staff Attorney
Shazzy Kamali (she/her) is a Staff Attorney in the Work and Family Program at Legal Aid at Work. Shazzy provides legal advice, presents trainings, and engages in policy advocacy to support new parents, survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, workers who are pregnant, and caregivers trying to access accommodations at work and paid leave.
Shazzy received her J.D. from UC Berkeley and her B.A. from UC San Diego. Prior to joining Legal Aid At work, Shazzy was a Brian Lewinstein Fellow at East Bay Community Law Center, where she served as a staff attorney and clinical supervisor in the Clean Slate and Decriminalization of Poverty practices.
