This guide describes WHAT your workplace rights are in California during and after pregnancy. It also teaches you WHEN and HOW to use your rights. This guide goes along with the Pregnancy + My Job Roadmap.

This toolkit assists healthcare providers in responding to patient requests for work-related medical documentation, including explanatory letters or certification forms required by employers or state agencies in order for employees to obtain reasonable accommodations, leaves of absence, and/or income replacement while on leave from work due to their own disability or serious health condition, the serious health condition of a family member, or the desire to bond with an infant or new child in the home.
