We are proud to announce that applications are now available for the 6th Annual San Francisco Healthy Mothers Workplace Awards!
The annual award recognizes San Francisco employers who voluntarily engage in policies and practices that support the well-being of working parents. Past awardees represent a diverse range of organizations in San Francisco, including technology companies, nonprofits, global law firms, small businesses, and government departments.
Participating employers will earn a bronze, silver or gold level certificate signed by the Mayor distinguishing them as one of San Francisco’s best workplaces for families, and will be recognized at a ceremony on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. The event will include speakers, an educational panel, and an opportunity to learn from other exemplary San Francisco employers.
For those employers wanting to improve their policies, the Healthy Mothers Workplace Coalition provides sample policies and will work with them to make desired improvements to workplace policies that impact working parents and their children.
This work has helped lead employers to improve policies covering tens of thousands of employees. Legal Aid at Work is honored to serve as the backbone organization and provide technical assistance to this coalition.
