Kim Flores
Communications Manager
Kim (she/her) oversees a comprehensive communications strategy that amplifies LAAW’s impact, engages key audiences, and ensures consistency in messaging and branding. Collaborating closely with the VP of Strategy, program teams, attorneys, and external consultants, she aims to elevate the organization’s profile through broad digital strategy and impact storytelling to support LAAW’s mission of advancing workplace rights for low-wage workers and marginalized communities.
Prior to joining LAAW, Kim has held key roles in digital marketing at social and environmental justice organizations like Greenpeace USA and the Action Center on Race and the Economy — executing multi-pronged strategies at the local, national, and international level. Kim holds a B.A. in Film and Digital Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and was previously an Emerging Leaders Fellow in the Women Innovating Labor Leadership Program — a joint project of Rutgers University’s Center for Innovation in Working Organization (CIWO) and Georgetown University’s Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor (KI).
