Legal Aid at Work holds one primary fundraising event each year to provide essential general support for our work on behalf of low-wage workers and their families. Join with community members, attorneys, judges, and public interest leaders who are passionate about social justice as we celebrate our 109th anniversary.

Maria Hinojosa

Maria Hinojosa is a Pulitzer Prize-winning Mexican American journalist whose nearly 30-year career includes reporting for PBS, CBS, WNBC, CNN, NPR, and WGBH. She is the anchor and co-executive producer of the Peabody-winning Latino USA, founder and president of Futuro Media Group, an independent, nonprofit organization based in Harlem, and a frequent guest on MSNBC.

Yosimar Reyes, Santa Clara County Poet Laureate

Hailing from East San Jose by way of Guerrero, Mexico, Reyes made a name for himself at the age of sixteen, captivating Bay Area audiences with deeply moving spoken word performances.
