LAS-ELC Helps Women Veterans at Fresno Stand Up Event

California Becomes Second State to Provide Paid Sick Days

Today, Governor Brown took a historic step for working families and signed Assembly Bill 1522, which provides workers in California the guarantee of earned sick days, accruing one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, regardless of the size of the employer.

LAS-ELC today settled a claim on behalf of To-Wen Tseng, a journalist for the Chinese-language newspaper World Journal who was allegedly denied legally mandated lactation accommodations at work.
