The Brief, which can be read here and features LAAW’s Work & Family Program, aims to elevate the intersectional and intergenerational issues associated with the care economy and the challenges facing low-income women of color who make up the care workforce. The primer is designed to provide funders with responsive strategies and policy solutions which center low-income women of color and ultimately build a healthy and resilient economy for us all.
