Announcing the Pregnancy + My Job Roadmap & Guide
New Know-Your-Rights Materials for Pregnant and New Parents!agosto 15, 2019
Welcoming a new child into your home is already stressful enough; figuring out your rights to take time off work and get paid during that time shouldn’t be. These easy-to-navigate materials describe what your workplace rights are in California during and after pregnancy. They also teach you when and how to use those rights. They are specially designed to be usable by everyone.
We encourage health care professionals, social service providers, employers, and employees to share these tools to educate their patients, clients, employees, co-workers, family, and friends.

The Pregnancy + My Job Roadmap and Guide were developed with support from Ascend at the Aspen Institute. The Skadden Foundation provided seed funding for the Roadmap and Guide. Legal Aid at Work is grateful to the Healthy Mothers Workplace Advisory Board, as well as each of our clients, focus group participants, low-literacy experts, partners, and members of our working group who provided invaluable feedback on the need for and ways to improve the Roadmap and Guide. We are also grateful to Den Legaspi at ARC & TYPE design for her graphic design of these materials.
